Our unique approach
Families who want to support their children sometimes tell us that they don’t feel confident themselves and do not know where to start. So in addition to our core service of providing volunteer reading mentors to work with children in schools, we also provide some tips and advice for families on our website.
We also offer workshops to a school’s own army of parent helpers and run a Buddy workshop for 6th formers so they can benefit from a volunteering role and support younger peers for whom reading is a challenge.
